Luna Massage Therapy was born out of desire to help others and to create a safe and comfortable experience for my clients.
Pivoting after more than 20 years working in an office job, I left my stressful and unfulfilling position, enrolled in school and reinvented myself as a licensed massage therapist. My massage studio in Orion Township is quiet and relaxing. After working for two busy chain massage studios in Florida, I settled into my private practice here in 2021. I love being in complete control over the care of my clients and ensuring they have the best experience possible.
I offer therapeutic massage, cupping therapy, and Manual Lymph Drainage. My passion is working with individuals who are affected by cancer, headaches, chronic pain, anxiety, depression or any other condition that can benefit from mindful bodywork. I am licensed in Michigan and Florida. I have been married for 20 years and have 3 grown sons. My husband and I live in White Lake with our 2 dogs.
I am a graduate of Sarasota School of Massage Therapy - Sarasota, Florida. After becoming licensed, I have dedicated hundreds of hours to specialized training in the following areas:
- Manual Lymph Drainage - Vodder Technique through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies (ACOLS)
- Oncology Massage
- Integrative Myofascial Cupping Therapy
- Neuromuscular Cupping Therapy
- Integrative Pregnancy Massage
- Manual Neuromuscular Therapy for Headaches, Neck Pain and TMJ Dysfunction
- Manual Neuromuscular Therapy for Upper Extremity, Shoulder, Elbow and Wrist Injuries
- Completed 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training
